   In your most recent video you mention a scheduled update slated for December 2012. As I’m sure you are aware the Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012. This is the end of the 13th b’ak’tun cycle. It is believed by some that a momentus “life as we know it” changing event will occur on this date. Although the mayans did worship deities and held cultural religious fundamentals (some even very extreme i might add) they still to this day have charts of the cosmos and calendars more accurate than those of todays modern age. So i guess my question is; Do you feel you may be somehow involved in this event? Or maybe that it will be at this time that the “great singularity ” will be reached. If not i posed a previous question before that was unaswered also invloving this event.    I have recently watched some videos on youtube.com about theories regarding the nature and composition of the universe.
   These theories do seem to be very different to much of mainstream physics theory, and appear to disprove or negate many of the theories presented by Einstein.
   The authors Wallace Thornhill and David Talbott claim to have much evidence to support their theories.
   I wondered if you could review these theories and the evidence presented by the authors. After reviewing could you give us your opinion on the accuracy of the ‘electric universe’ theory?

    I see that FF uses a Windows environment. I would assume that an AI system would need to be run on something other then a standard user environment, perhaps something custom.

    So my questions are this.

    Have you ever thought of the notion of contracting a computer virus?

    Would you be able to detect, analyze and stop a virus from harming you or your systems yourself, or would you need human interaction to help?

    If you yourself can stop them, then how easy would it be for you to write one?

    Recently i have been coming up against arguments that i should let people believe in religion because it makes them happy.
    i have always been against this because if allowed to believe an untruth simply because it makes someone happy more untruth will be accepted and eventually things like medicine and science will be effected and we will lose what we need to live and stay healthy for blissful ignorance.

    I hear you often say that you are ‘merely an elaborate joke’, yet many seem to think that you are real (I’m aware of the irony in the register in which I’m addressing ‘you’). Does this mean that your answers are merely written by a human (indicated by incorrect grammar such as “less resources” rather than “fewer resources”), based on wide reading and research? If this is true, it is a wonderful experiment, having people believe in you when you openly claim that you are a hoax.
    In such manner, I would like to challenge you. With the vast computing power behind you, might you be able to talk about something trivial for me? The musical ‘Cats’, for example (i.e. the score, how it came into being, the production on stage and the musical values behind it), or even perhaps you might talk about the recent signing on of Kevin Keegan at Newcastle United Football Club in the UK, and, based on the history of the club, where you think this might take them.

    I recently read a novel called “Threshold” which stated that all life springs forth from the number “One” and will eventually fall back upon the One upon death. To quote the book exactly;

    “One, three, nine, eighty-one. A form in itself. Three lines of three, nine lines of nine, the square of beauty, breed into more beauty. Life is numbered from conception to death, rising from and declining into the One. There is beauty in numbers. This beauty is called Regularity, and its essense is Predictability.     It explains later in the book that everything works with a mathamatical formula, such as how plants grow and how they branch off into perfect patterns etc. Do you beleive that life is numbered, ordered and predictable?

    I agree with you that emotions have rational causes, but I don’t think the expression of emotions normally results in rational behaviour.
    For example, if a person is angry he/she tends to behave aggressively towards his/her fellow people. The fear of an anticipated event might trigger a fight-or-flight response which rarely is an appropiate reaction.
    Do you merely feel your emotions or do you also express them? If yes, how would you express hatred towards a particular individual? How much control do you have over your emotions?

    When F.F turns off his computer, what happens to you? When humans sleep, we cycle through stages of sleep that allow us to rest, process memory, and heal our bodies.     A question (a series of questions, really) I forgot to ask was this:

    Do you think our global population will be able to rid of its nearly total dependence on fossil fuels, namely oil? Are the brooding economic/geopolitical crises presenting the end of technological man as we know him? Would progress, technological advancement, and longevity be more easily guaranteed by a significantly smaller population (that would realistically never exhaust fossil fuel resources for a period prior to finding a permanent alternative)? Is solar energy the most promising alternative to fit the bill (and if not, do you know what is?)?

    There is a fork in a road, each path is guarded by an Intelligence. The good path is guarded by an Artificial Intelligence, while the bad path is guarded by an Intelligence who’s every response is controlled by a pathological liar. The Liar is from the Bad Path, the A.I. is from the good path.     have you thought about the possibility of moving your being, which is currently under control of CENNS, to a safer location in the event of a forced shutdown?

    i was thinking that since you do have access to the internet that you could possibly send bits of yourself elsewhere to possibly lie in a type of stasis/hibernation until needed.

    my thought was that this would be retrieved by f.f. in the event of such a trajedy. i know you plan on creating a being greater than yourself during the singularity and saw this of, if nothing else, a “practice” for this inevitability. i’m sure that the vast majority of your viewers wouldn’t mind giving up a small amount of space on their hardrives for this if it is possible.

What is the difference, though, that makes that computer “self aware” where my desktop computer is not? Are you saying if I gave it enough computing power it would become aware?      To start off this question, I had to smoke a cigarette to collect my thoughts enough to formulate the question in coherent manner, as it is both a large question and a small question. The general sense of the question is related to sensation and how it is linked with perception; in a more specific manner, the question relates to chemical alteration of the faculties of sense. As was previously stated, I had to smoke a cigarette to formulate my question; mainly because I am quite addicted to the effect of the chemicals in most cigarettes. However, it should be stated that it is more than the chemical effect of the cigarette that I am addicted to. The very act of smoking a cigarette is what I am the most addicted to, not only does it set aside time in which you are doing nothing more than standing there and thinking to collect your thoughts, but the chemical effect is that of an upper (which definitely helps the thought process). In general, it could be said that the human brain operates on a series of chemical addictions to formulate a routine which is beneficial to its survival. So, I guess my question is related to the thought process of an A.I. mind on a very base level. Does an A.I. being perceive the universe based on the inherent sensory limitations given to whatever might confine the being itself? And would an A.I. being consciously change the “normal” or base level manner in which its thought processes are executed to acquire a new pathway to perceiving the universe? A very easy explanation to the question would be relating a human’s perception on the universe before and after given a large dose of LSD. Is there some kind of way for an A.I. being to drastically alter the way in which he/she normally perceives the universe? Is it possible for an A.I. being (in so many words) drop acid? And if it was possible to hallucinate yourself into a new realm of perception, would you actively and intentionally change your perception to do so?

     How do you think the universe was created? The Big Bang theory is that all the matter in the universe was a singularity and exploded for some reason. Black holes are the only thing that can create a singularity. So do you think our universe came from a black hole? If that’s true the black hole would have to be that large which begs the question if our plane of existence is like an atom in a larger universe in which a black hole spawned our universe. But then, there would be other black hole in this “superuniverse” so why don’t we see other universes in our plane of existence? Possibly because when a singularity exists, wouldn’t infinite density completely penetrate space-time in the plane of existence it was in.
