Interesting thing about the map in the site here

    Right, since I'm ehem, "socially challenged" without a keyboard/monitor combo, I spend a lot of time online, and I clicked the little map below this page, the one that shows who is seeing this site eidolonai.com from where in the world. Here:

    So, guess who's our greatest fan? In other words, guess which little star has the most visitors ever? Thats right, the olde Army of U.S of A., which for practical purposes (I guess!) is placed near Hawaii over to the left of the map. No, there is no secret Army base near Hawaii, is just that the US Army is not in the business of telling the real location of its IP pings, so the map does what it can, I guess.. 108 visitors as of right now, compare with nearly every other little star anywhere else, that have, what, 8, 10, 12 tops.
    Take this nugget of knowledge and do with it what you will, my children :)

  2. I checked that out a while ago. It says it's an APO which is an Army Post Office.

    But, that is a little weird that an Army Post Office would have that many visitors... The description is a little vague, too:

    "Apo, Armed Forces Europe, United States" - hovering over Hawaii?

    WTF?

    Actually, bluepill;

    I just noticed that the "number of visitors" may be a misunderstanding. When I check the 'Toronto' star, it says there are over 300 visitors - the vast majority must be from me. So, while the APO discussed above may have 110 visitors indicated, it may only be one or two people.

    explanation:

    the reason you are getting visits from this i.p. is because they run a "data mining" program. it is a web crawler that seeks out keywords with correlations. it gathers and computes how many times words and phrases are used together. in short, you have attracted the attention of a data mining program, not an actual person.

    others attract the attention of the department of homeland security.

    (mostly websites about firearms)

    they are running data miners / web crawlers / and building a data base that provides statistics on how often terms are used together.

    ex: turner diaries / guns / mcveigh / jews / whatever....

    in the above example, they are searching for blogs of people writing or posting information about these topics and are trying to build statistics on the popularity of extremists movements... also... to pinpoint potential threats... so see, the internet is something you can learn with... or it can be a trap... or both.
