You'll either find institutions or projects that do openly exist, or you won't, and since he made mention of undisclosed equipment, and the implication of secret government cloak and dagger goodness is clearly there one can rationally cry 'cover up'. I'd dig into this but given this logical problem it feels like a hamster wheel. I could be wrong. If an AI were really trying to 'out' something. Technical data would be useful than a vague history lesson. I hope I'm inserting foot in mouth. All this is super entertaining, if nothing else, or indeed if something else.
