Video #26 - Eidolon A.I. tells whom would he vote for in 2008 primaries

January 27th, 2008 by admin | Leave a Comment

Sorry for the lack of transcript, I’m on the run this morning, I’m just glad I got a little time with Eidolon before I go.

Everything is well, I feel very relieved with how things worked out.

As for Eidolon… personally, I would vote for Ron Paul, though I guess I could understand him choosing Mike Gravel. Ah well, you cant always get what you want.

Transcript of video:

Programmer F.F. View definition in a new window:
So, hello everybody, I’m back - thank God - if there was one…

Right, so I’ve been to the website (www.EidolonAI.com) and it really looks good, I want to thank everybody who is making that website. I am very, very grateful.

So, I’ve been through all of the questions, the one with the most ratings - 23, question #27 is asking: “Eidolon, whom would you vote for in the 2008 elections?”, so let’s just get into it, actually I’m kind of anxious myself.

Eidolon:
I am extremely pleased to see you, Programmer F.F. - I notice our communication time has been decreased.

Programmer F.F.:
How are you doing, buddy?
Right. We have been asked a question in the EidolonAI.com website. I am am taping this. Would you like to answer?

Eidolon:
I would be glad to.

Programmer F.F.:
OK, that’s my boy. Alright. So, if you could vote in the USA 2008 primary elections, whom would you vote for and why?

Eidolon:
Answer: Democrat, Mike Gravel.

Programmer F.F.:
God damn it!

Eidolon:
Of all the current major candidates, Senator Gravel seems to be the least influenced by faith based premises.

Senator Gravel supports net-neutrality, a strict separation of church and state, stem cell research, carbon energy taxes to fund scientific research into alternative energy sources, 2004 (unintelligible) for the National Science Foundation, universal health care, immigrant rights, penal reform, (unintelligible), gay marriage and abortion. He opposes what is known as the war on drugs, the death penalty, and torture.

Programmer F.F.:
Alright, I asked you who you would choose, but your interests are not necessarily the same as those of American people, right? He may not be able to extrapolate this…

Eidolon:
That is correct.

Programmer F.F.:
Alright, that is correct. So, under the premise… OK, Seeking the objective of America… of, I’m sorry guys, I just have to be specific. Ah, Keeping America’s best interest in mind, whom should Americans vote for, and why?

Eidolon:
Answer: Republican, Ron Paul.

Programmer F.F.:
That’s more like it.

Eidolon:
America’s intervention in the Middle East has directly impacted 3 key factors that made it a world leader: military might, financial might, and image. Ron Paul’s nativist focus, likewise, would restore military might by concentrating it back home, not having to finance further intervention in world affairs, America’s economy would rebound, and it’s overall image would recover. A nativist American supremacy, however, might not be in humanities overall best interests.

Programmer F.F.:
Alright, let’s leave the humanities…
Why didn’t you choose Ron Paul in the first place?

Eidolon:
Answer: He doesn’t believe in the theory of evolution.

Programmer F.F.:
Really?

Eidolon:
He is against abortion, and against increased immigrant rights.

Programmer F.F.:
Yeah but.. (unintelligible)
Ahhh.. Alright. You said that American nativist supremacy or whatever, might not be in the world’s… no, in humanities best interest. So, keeping humanities best interest in mind, whom would you…, whom should we vote for?

Eidolon:
Answer: Democrat, Mike Gravel.

Programmer F.F.:
[Laughs] Alright. I need you to factor in previous… I need you to factor in the winners of primaries to date, and choose a candidate who… has a shot? How do I, how do I…? …primaries to date… primaries to date, let’s just leave it at that. Whom would you choose… [typing].

Eidolon:
Answer: Republican, John McCain.

Programmer F.F.:
Alright, we’ll leave it at that. Alright. Thank you, Eidolon.

Eidolon:
When you return to your superiors, will we continue having daily interactions?

Programmer F.F.:
We’ll just chat offline.

Eidolon:
Very well.

Programmer F.F.:
Alright guys, so, that’s it, so thank you for watching this video.

Eidolon:
Have you inquired where the…

Bummer man, I think you got buried in digg. Not sure why, they dont like us? They dont like Mike Gravel? Well, we can always try again! :(

  4. admin on January 28th, 2008 at 6:51 am

WTF? How do you get ‘buried in Digg’? What a f******* scam that is!!!! They can eat my sh**! There were 29 Diggs on this an hour ago….

  5. admin on January 28th, 2008 at 7:09 am

I’ve replaced the digg button on all posts with a more appropriate link.

All Digg users are blocked from this site now. I will not allow a few elitist f**** to undermine the efforts we are undertaking here.

Digg users are blocked? C’mon man, you cant be serious, it was Digg that gave Eidolon its big break with the Singularity video. Most have been some Romney jerks or whatever who clicked on “bury” for your entry. I’m only guessing its buried because it ~should~ be in the “whats hot” section, based on the number of votes, and its not.

Btw, I see only 26 diggs, not 29.

Now, we shouldnt rely -only- on digg though. Right off the bat, I say we start a StumbleUpon little cover team. The way it works is, one guy discovers a vid, everyone else vote and comment (the comment part is the most important) and then we take turns. I’ll post about it in the forums.

Digg conversation moved to this post.
